Oration Speaker Bureau, is an international organization based in Dublin, Ireland.
We provide keynote speakers, executive learning masterclasses and senior boardroom advisers to corporations and governments and, as such, we represent and interact with some of the most influential people around the world.
At Oration Speakers we are dedicated to safeguarding and preserving your privacy when visiting our site and communicating electronically with us. As required by national and European data protection regulations, this Privacy Policy, together with our terms of use, aims to set up in a clear, transparent and accessible manner how your data are stored and processed by providing an explanation as to what sort of data will be collected, what is to be done with it, what your rights are and who you can contact should you wish to exert them.
We do update this Policy from time to time so please do review this Policy regularly.
- Data collected during your visit and/or electronic communications with us.
During your visit, several data will be collected such as; IP address, location, browser, the length of your visit, the number of pages you have visited and which ones in particular. Through our enquiry form, you will also share with us data such as name, surname, company name, name of the speaker you wish to hire, email address and phone number.
We also use cookies, a small text file that a website asks your browser to store on your computer or mobile device and that allows the website to ‘remember’ your actions or preferences over time [1]. Where used, these cookies are downloaded to your computer automatically. This cookie file is stored on the hard drive of your computer, as cookies contain information that is transferred to your computer’s hard drive. They help us to improve our website and the service that we provide to you. All computers have the ability to decline cookies. This can be done by activating the setting on your browser which enables you to decline the cookies. Please note that should you choose to decline cookies, you may be unable to access particular parts of our website. Such cookies (if used) would be downloaded once you click on advertisements on our website.
- What do we do with your data?
All the different types of data mentioned above will only be shared internally, between our staff members and licensed offices within the Oration Speakers network, in order to deliver the best and personalised service possible.
Internal staff members include consultants, in-house web- developers as well as communication and marketing team members.
We will also use your data for direct marketing purposes such as emailing, providing you with information requested from us relating to our products or services and providing information on other products which we feel may be of interest to you, where you have consented to receive such information.
We will also use it to meet our contractual commitments to you, to notify you about any changes to our website, such as improvements or service/product changes, that may affect our service. If you are an existing customer, we may contact you with information about services similar to those which were the subject of a previous sale to you.
We do not use your data for profiling or targeting purposes nor do we share it with any third party, unless required to do so by law.
- Storage of data
Your data will be stored on our internal servers located in Ireland and/or on Google Analytics (cf. 5.Third party), for an indefinite period of time until we decide otherwise or if you exert your rights as a data subject (cf. 6 Your rights).
- Process of data outside of the European Union
As a global organisation, we work with entities outside of the European Union. Therefore, we may process data to locations outside of the European Economic Area such as (but not limited to) Russia, China, the United-States of America, Africa or the Middle East. In compliance with legal requirements, we take all reasonable steps to ensure that your data is being kept secure and to prevent any breach of data.
- Third party involved
You might find links to third party websites on our website. These websites should have their own privacy policies which you should check. We do not accept any responsibility or liability for their policies whatsoever as we have no control over them.
As mentioned in section 3 ‘Storage of data’, we may process information using Google Analytics.
- Your rights
Under the EU Regulation 2016/679 known as the ‘General Data Protection Regulation’ (GDPR), you are entitled, as a data subject, to the respect, protection and enforcement of the below rights, which this policy and our use of personal data have been designed to uphold:

- The right of access;
- The right to rectification;
- The right to erasure;
- The right to restrict processing;
- The right to data portability;
- The right to object.
Against this backdrop, you are allowed to have access to your data and request from us the rectification or erasure of personal data. You can also restrict us from performing specific operations or simply object to it.
Any information provided upon such a demand will be provided free of charge unless manifestly unfounded or excessive, in particular because of their repetitive nature. Should this be the case, we may decide to charge you a reasonable fee taking into account the administrative costs of providing the information or communication or taking the action requested. We may also refuse to answer your request [2].
