It’s funny how life has a way of leading you exactly where you need to be, even if the journey feels a bit unconventional. My career has been a blend of pulling strings behind the scenes as a Speaker Agent, orchestrating events for some of the most brilliant minds, and now coaching people to step confidently into the spotlight. And let me tell you, nothing brings me more joy than seeing someone go from “I could never do that” to commanding a stage with ease.

Working as a Speaker Agent, I’ve had a front-row seat to incredible stories—and not just the ones shared on stage. I’ve witnessed the grit, self-doubt, and determination it takes for speakers to thrive. Collaborating with individuals like Steve Wozniak taught me that even the most successful people need help crafting their narrative. Watching Joel Cohen, a Simpsons writer, transition from writing TV comedy to captivating live audiences showed me the magic of leaning into your niche.

And then there were the surprising lessons: partnering with a supply chain expert who turned dry logistics into an edge-of-your-seat keynote. These moments solidified my belief that anyone with a story to tell—whether it’s inspiring or deeply technical—can become a great speaker with the right guidance.

Here’s the thing: most people don’t realise that public speaking is as much about mindset as it is about message. Sure, I can help you structure a killer talk, but none of it matters if you’re paralysed by fear or unsure how to present your authentic self. Coaching lets me combine my industry know-how with my training as a high-performance coach, helping clients overcome fear and build confidence.

I’ve seen firsthand how crippling imposter syndrome can be, even for accomplished professionals. It’s why I prioritise confidence-building. My coaching isn’t about turning you into a carbon copy of the last TED Talk sensation; it’s about helping you own your unique voice and step onto any stage knowing you belong there.

One of the biggest misconceptions I hear? That you need to be polished and perfect to succeed. Spoiler: you don’t. Some of the best speakers I’ve worked with—like Ricardo Semler, who speaks as authentically as he runs businesses—have shown that audiences crave connection, not perfection. My goal is to help you find your rhythm, tell your story, and connect with people in a way that feels true to you.

If you’ve been sitting on the sidelines, thinking public speaking isn’t for you, here’s why you should consider coaching with me:

  1. You have a story worth sharing. Even if you think it’s “boring,” I’ll show you how to craft it into something unforgettable.
  2. Confidence is a skill, not a personality trait. You don’t need to be born charismatic—I’ll teach you how to feel at home on stage.
  3. Practical strategies, not fluff. My advice is grounded in years of experience, both behind the scenes and in front of audiences.
  4. Tailored to you. Whether you’re an industry expert, a creative professional, or someone ready to pivot into speaking, my approach is built around your goals.

I’m not just another coach who’s read a book on public speaking—I’ve lived and breathed this industry. I’ve worked with household names, navigated the ups and downs of the events world, and helped speakers turn their vision into reality. Coaching isn’t a “nice add-on” for me; it’s a continuation of what I’ve always done: helping people succeed by stepping out of their comfort zone and onto a stage.

If you’re ready to take the leap—or even just dip your toes in the water—let’s talk. Whether your goal is your first paid speaking gig or simply overcoming the fear of a microphone, I’m here to help you speak up, speak out, and own your moment in the spotlight.
